Impressions
Impressions refers to the number of times your visitors have actually seen the section of content that has been swapped. The section has to be seen within the visitors viewport for it to be registered as an impression.
Keep in mind that when a section shows a conversion rate, the formula differs from the standard conversion calculation. Since a visitor may not have seen a specific variation (for example, if it was further down the page or on a page they didn’t visit), the conversion rate for sections is based on the number of conversions divided by the number of impressions for that section. This approach ensures you can accurately determine if a piece of content influenced a conversion.
